Each Echo & Trace book comes with a unique:
- Book ID (Sharing Key)
- PIN Key (Management Access)
Book ID allows users to listen to and share recordings.
PIN Key allows users to add, edit, manage, and archive recordings.
Please keep this information secure to prevent unauthorized access.
Access to recordings is limited to individuals who possess the Book ID or have been granted authorization.
Echo & Trace does not proactively listen to, review, or use your recordings.
If technical support requires access, we will obtain your consent before doing so.
✴ We Do Not Actively Listen to Your Content
Except in the following circumstances:
- You request technical support
- You provide explicit consent
- We are required to do so by law or government authorities
Echo & Trace will not actively listen to, review, or use the contents of your recordings.
Your voice belongs only to you and the people you choose to share it with.
✴ Downloading and Deleting Voice Recordings
During the storage period, you may:
- Download backup copies of your recordings
- Delete recordings (provided they have not been archived)
Please note:
Once a recording has been deleted, it may not be recoverable.
Before deleting any recording, please ensure that you have created any necessary backups.
